War of the major recording labels, Roc nation versus YMCMB this is what I’d call it. The beef seems to be out in the open. Jay-z and his counterpart Kanye west have debuted a single by the name ‘HAM’ which is both a reply and diss track to both bird man and lil Wayne.

The beef had earlier started when Bird-man claimed that his son Lil Wayne is the best in the rap game and should have been number one on MTV’s final list early last year (Lil Wayne was announced as number two). He also said that due to his son’s arrest, Lil Wayne was not able to sell as much as predicted.

Jay-z and Kanye west laughed off the claims at the roc nation studios letting their ego’s soar the hip hop scene as they were rightfully named number one. As depicted from Jay-z’ s lines from the debut track HAM, jay raps “I’m really half a Billi, you got baby money, ni—as aint got my lady money”. 

Let me  elaborate that: jay-z says that he’s really worth half a billion dollars, he then goes on and says that Lil Wayne and bird man have baby money which is ironical because babies don’t have any money, in the next line he compares their worth to Beyonce’s, which jay-z clearly states that they aren’t worth as much as her.
