Music is the key to all entertainment and enjoyement. Music expresses how a person feels in that exact moment. Facebook has recognised this and taken full advantage of this.

Facebook is preparing to bolster the programming tools it offers to licensed music services like Rhapsody, Spotify, MOG and Rdio to make it easier for users of the social network to find out what songs their friends are digging.

The tools won't amount to a unique music service on its own, since Facebook has not negotiated licensing deals with major music companies, according to a person familiar with the matter.

But it will give Facebook users yet another reason to stick around. Being more aware of what your friends are listening to could make the subscription music plans more attractive. They all offer unlimited listening to millions of new and old tracks on mobile devices for US$10 a month, but they have yet to gain enough traction to replace revenue the music industry has lost from declining CD sales.

The person was not authorised to speak publicly on the matter and declined to be identified.

Facebook is expected to reveal the specific set of tools at its developer conference in San Francisco, called f8, on September 22.

Spokesman Larry Wu said Facebook had nothing new to announce. "Many of the most popular music services around the world are integrated with Facebook and we're constantly talking to our partners about ways to improve these integrations," he said in a statement.

This week, subscription leader Rhapsody launched a beta version of its integration using Facebook's sign-in tool, Facebook Connect. A Rhapsody customer can now 'like' an artiste or song, and doing so lets others know in the person's Facebook news feed. Liked artistes are synced across both services and Rhapsody subscribers can listen to artistes that their friends have liked on Facebook.

It’s difficult to argue her statements, especially the latter one, as while Google has expanded its reach throughout the online world, its search engine remains the backbone of the company. Still, even with Google Plus in beta and more features on the way, the lack of searchable public content thus far is puzzling.

On customization, Huang is purely speculating, as ads don’t yet exist on the beta social network. She suggests that once brand pages launch, managers may be able to use YouTube’s model and place ads and skins throughout pages, backing them with the search engine giant’s advertising offerings: Google Display Network, AdWords, and DoubleClick.

Possible? Sure, but it’s also possible that Facebook could implement similar tweaks to advertisement on its brand pages.

Presents have come in from Rihanna, Oprah Winfrey, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams. Certainly some of those presents are from close friends and colleagues, but many are probably from fans who want to share in the excitement. Indeed, people everywhere seem to be thrilled for Beyoncé, pregnant at 29. No word yet on whether Beyoncé and Jay-Z plan to keep all the gifts or donate some.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z married in 2008 and focused on their careers for the first couple of years of their marriage. The wait paid off—they're now one of the highest earning celebrity duos.

Perhaps Kourtney has finally gotten tired of Kim Kardashian's butt being the most famous backside in the family. After all, her big behind has helped make her the biggest star on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and Kourt and Khloe Kardashian have to be tired of living in the shadow of their sister's daunting derriere.

Plus Kourtney has admitted to getting breast implants in the past, so it wouldn't be all that surprising if she's also gotten butt implants. Then again, Kourtney Kardashian might have just been joking around when she tweeted this message: "I forgot to share some ultra exciting news!! I bought myself an ass! Its so wonderful and plump. My life is now complete!"

Kourt does like to kid around, so perhaps she was bored and just decided to create some kind of controversy. Or maybe she didn't actually get butt implants -- maybe she found another way to make her backside bigger.

Kourtney recently went shopping at their DASH store in NYC, and maybe the shop sells Booty Pop panties or some other kind of padded underwear to help shoppers better emulate Kim Kardashian's look (why the sisters haven't thought about making their own line of butt-enhancing britches is a mystery). There are also Kim Kardashian Halloween costumes on sale that feature massive amounts of butt padding -- maybe she bought one of those.

However, one of her followers thought she was talking about a completely different ass entirely, replying to her message by quipping that she already has an ass in her baby daddy Scott Disick.

Getting butt implants certainly would create plenty of buzz for her show Kim & Kourtney Take New York, but hopefully Kourtney Kardashian doesn't go all overboard with plastic surgery like living Barbie doll Heidi Montag (obviously doing so is a career killer).

I phone 5 Prototype goes missing.

An Apple employee lost the prototype in July, a repeat of what happened to an iPhone 4 prototype last year. The device was tracked to a San Francisco house, where police and Apple employees carried out a search. The prototype has yet to be recovered.

San Francisco police have assisted Apple in the search for a prototype of the latest iPhone that went astray in a bar in a repeat of an embarrassing loss that took place last year.

An Apple employee lost a yet-to-be-released iPhone 5 in a tequila bar in San Francisco's Mission District in July, technology news site CNET reported this week.

After the device was electronically tracked using GPS technology to a San Francisco house, four police officers and two Apple employees visited the home, the San Francisco police said in a statement distributed to news.

According to Hollywood Life, while Selena Gomez is performing on her concert tour in Colorado over the Labor Day Weekend, Justin will be up in Canada spending the weekend visiting with his grandparents.

Selena Gomez? She most certainly approves wholeheartedly. Their values are much the same--family, belief in God, and hard work are all part of what makes both of these young people tick.

Not to worry, however. Both Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber manage to have a lot of fun, too. They work hard, but at times they play pretty hard as well. Neither is living a life that even remotely hints of any sort of deprivation!

Good for Justin Bieber for choosing to spend Labor Day Weekend with his grandparents. That's a decision he will never regret making. So many young folks want to run and play and stay in the fast lane constantly--never giving much thought to those people in their lives who have helped make them who they are.
